If you're an experienced builder with strong leadership, budgeting, and compliance skills, this is your chance to shape the future of construction.Things You’ll DoLead and mentor a staff of engineers, construction & project managers, estimators, interns and administrative assistants, superintendents, equipment operators, truck, drivers and subcontractors.Monitor employee training and certification.Maintain recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action.Project, organize, and implement annual budgets and work under contract.Oversee the distribution of equipment, personnel, and other construction related resources.Maintain insurable driving record.Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.RequirementsBachelor of Science in civil engineering, construction management or related field highly preferred. Substantial work experience may be considered as a substitute for the degree.Ten years of progressive estimating and project management.Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills.Ability to review and analyze financial information.Strategic thinking skills.Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and department of transportation (DOT) regulations.Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook skills.Literate in Heavy Construction Systems Specialists (HCSS), Heavy Bid, and Viewpoint.Benefits At Suncore, we value people.
