Performs setup, programming, and operates, CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and electrical discharge machine (EDM). Assists Tool Makers as assigned.ResponsibilitiesCORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Is capable of receiving and interpreting verbal instructions, drawings, and blueprints.2. Programs and operates CNC machines.3. Supports other tool makers as required.4. Completes paperwork as required including job cards, inspection reports, logs, etc.5. Responsible for inspection of work, assuring that machinery and parts are constructed or repaired to specification. Immediately reports problems to department supervision.6. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.7. Keeps work area neat, clean, organized and under control.8.
