Description We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Brookshire, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will oversee various financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while maintaining the organization of our office. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can independently manage multiple tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and organize accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy. u2022 Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow to ensure financial stability. u2022 Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correct and complete. u2022 Prepare payroll for a small team, including calculations and timely submissions. u2022 Generate financial reports to provide insights into the companyu2019s performance. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks Pro and QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping tasks and financial data management. u2022 Create and maintain organized filing systems for receipts, invoices, and other financial documents. u2022 Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial records. u2022 Collaborate with management to address financial inquiries and provide relevant data. u2022 Use Microsoft Excel to analyze and present financial data effectively. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role. u2022 Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Pro and QuickBooks Online. u2022 Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. u2022 Solid understanding of general ledger maintenance and cash flow management. u2022 Knowledge of payroll processes and reporting. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. u2022 Excellent organizational and time management abilities. u2022 Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
