IT Director

Description We are looking for an experienced IT Director to oversee financial systems and drive technology strategies that align with organizational goals. Based in San Juan Capistrano, California, this role is pivotal in managing critical systems, leading teams, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of financial processes and technology. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for financial systems that supports organizational objectives. u2022 Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment and effective execution of financial systems strategies. u2022 Manage the administration, configuration, and performance of financial systems such as Oracle Hyperion, Epicor ERP, Zuora, and industry-specific billing platforms. u2022 Lead efforts to design and implement integrations across financial systems using APIs and middleware solutions. u2022 Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance with regulatory standards. u2022 Collaborate with internal audit, finance, and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and smooth financial close cycles. u2022 Supervise a team of systems analysts, developers, and external consultants to achieve project and operational goals. u2022 Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee service level agreements (SLAs). u2022 Identify opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and cost-saving measures. u2022 Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in financial systems and SaaS platforms. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; a Masteru2019s degree is preferred. u2022 At least 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, including 5 years focused on financial systems. u2022 Advanced knowledge of Oracle Hyperion, Epicor ERP, and Zuora platforms. u2022 Familiarity with financial processes, data governance, and revenue recognition standards. u2022 Experience in the trade show, events, or media industry is a plus. u2022 Strong communication and project management skills, with proven stakeholder engagement. u2022 Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships effectively. u2022 Proficiency in integrating financial systems using APIs and middleware solutions.
