Description We are looking for an experienced Director of Human Resources to oversee and enhance all aspects of HR operations within our organization. Based in Monterey, California, this role is pivotal in fostering a positive workplace culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead and manage the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and processes to support organizational goals. u2022 Oversee employee relations initiatives, ensuring fair and consistent handling of workplace concerns. u2022 Administer benefit programs and ensure accurate management of compensation packages. u2022 Optimize the use and functionality of HR information systems (HRIS) to streamline operations and reporting. u2022 Supervise onboarding processes to create a smooth transition for new employees into the organization. u2022 Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations, providing expert guidance on HR practices. u2022 Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with overall business objectives. u2022 Manage performance review cycles and support the development of skills and expertise. u2022 Develop and maintain metrics to measure HR effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. u2022 Provide strategic advice on workforce planning and succession planning. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a Director or Manager. u2022 Strong expertise in employee relations, with a track record of handling sensitive workplace issues. u2022 In-depth knowledge of HR administration and benefit functions. u2022 Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and their application in organizational settings. u2022 Demonstrated ability to manage onboarding processes effectively. u2022 Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations. u2022 Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage with employees and leadership. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
