Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Carlsbad, California. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to drive strategic business decisions and performance optimization. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform detailed financial analyses to assess business performance, identify trends, and provide insights into key revenue, expense, and profitability drivers. u2022 Build, refine, and manage advanced financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making. u2022 Oversee the development, execution, and monitoring of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. u2022 Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, including variance analyses, financial metrics, and actionable recommendations. u2022 Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial guidance and ensure alignment with corporate objectives. u2022 Work closely with the accounting team to support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budgets. u2022 Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. u2022 Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, cost optimization strategies, and investment opportunities to support informed decision-making. u2022 Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive benchmarks to enhance financial strategies. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and financial regulations. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred. u2022 At least 3u20135 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or a similar role. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced financial modeling capabilities. u2022 Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms, and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting financial information to diverse audiences. u2022 Proven problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while managing multiple priorities.
