Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Growing New York city frm is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts payable operations, particularly within non-profit organizations, and proficiency in NetSuite software. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining financial accuracy, managing payment processes, and ensuring compliance with organizational and donor requirements. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization before payment. u2022 Prepare payment batches and manage timely disbursement to vendors. u2022 Utilize NetSuite software to process payments, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports. u2022 Ensure compliance with non-profit financial guidelines, including managing restricted funds and adhering to grant-related requirements. u2022 Handle employee expense reports, verifying adherence to organizational policies and processing reimbursements. u2022 Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Address vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. u2022 Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounts payable processes and workflows. u2022 Maintain organized documentation of all payment and expense records for audit purposes. Requirements u2022 2+ years of experience in accounts payable operations. u2022 Proficiency in NetSuite software for payment processing and reporting. u2022 Prior experience working in a non-profit organization is strongly preferred. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. u2022 Familiarity with coding invoices, check runs, and invoice processing. u2022 Knowledge of non-profit financial guidelines and compliance requirements.
