Software Engineer

Description We are on the search for a Software Engineer to join our team located in Oyster Bay, New York. The role encompasses processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. The Software Engineer will also monitor customer accounts and take suitable action. Responsibilities u2022 Develop and test software using VB or Objective C u2022 Implement systems design and software development u2022 Conduct unit testing and integrated system testing u2022 Develop databases using Oracle and/or SQL u2022 Work collaboratively within a team or independently as required u2022 Handle customer inquiries and resolve them efficiently u2022 Process customer credit applications with accuracy u2022 Maintain customer credit records meticulously u2022 Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action u2022 Gain knowledge of Inventory and Manufacturing-related systems Requirements u2022 Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role u2022 Proficient in VB, Objective C, SQL, and Oracle DB u2022 Demonstrated experience in Unit Testing u2022 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred u2022 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail u2022 Excellent communication and teamwork skills u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards deadlines u2022 Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and software quickly u2022 Knowledge of software design principles and best practices u2022 Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.u00ae Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
