They are experts on all deregulated energy markets, independently providing these services for clients throughout North America.PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide energy procurement consulting services to each assigned client; including, but not limited to: RFP development, market assessment, risk management, strategy development, contract negotiation, contract management, and product managementIndependently develop and maintain contacts within a client organizationDemonstrate an authoritative and consultative approach that builds support within the client organizationMaintain thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory marketsMeet regularly with clients, including in-person visits and teleconferencesCommunicate with utilities, local distribution companies, and energy suppliers to gather timely, accurate, and complete energy market intelligenceExplain and educate clients on difficult energy market dynamics and metricsAssist in development of new energy procurement products and marketing materialsOversee Regulated Rates Monitoring & Optimization product for subscribing clientsFour-year college degree strongly preferredWorking knowledge of PUC, utility rules, regulations and tariffs;Experience with internal
