Road Supervisor Transdev in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Road Supervisor. Road Supervisors ensure all routes are completed in compliance with safety procedures. We are seeking customer service oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Key Responsibilities: + Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers. u2022 Day to day scheduling, counseling, and submitting evaluation reports to local management. u2022 Conduct on-the-scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports and safety violations documents. u2022 Develop and host driver training and safety courses; train new drivers and retrain drivers involved in accidents. u2022 Observe drivers on the road - correct safety problems on the scene while documenting violations. u2022 Liaison between drivers and both the customers and organization in customer service concerns u2022 Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance in compliance with legal, employment and labor policy matters. u2022 Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance - drug testing and recordkeeping. u2022 Drive routes periodically. u2022 Other duties as required. Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GEDu2022 Valid Commercial Driveru2019s Licenseu2022 Supervisory experience with hourly employees; 2-3 years transit supervisory experience preferredu2022 Computer literate - basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint u2022 Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.u2022 Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: u2022 Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations. u2022 Sit for extended periods (up to 6u20138 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces u2022 Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level u2022 Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise. + Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. + The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. + Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
