Division:SPOProject Location(s):Monroe, LA 71209 USAMinimum Years Experience:Travel Involved:70-80%Job Type:RegularJob Classification:ExperiencedEducation:Job Family:ConstructionCompensation:Salaried ExemptPosition Description:Coordinate surveying tasks and resources throughout construction projectlifecycle.Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities: Coordinate surveying tasks throughout duration of construction project. Identify and escalate drawing discrepancies within building layout tosupervisor. Establish baseline-building controls and work points; calculate, coordinate,and layout points with accuracy, based onproject documents. Ensure coordinated work between Trades utilizing discipline contractdrawings, shop drawings, and submittals. Conduct As-Built Surveys and prepare electronic data for submission to teammembers. Engage, interact, and coordinate work with other team members. Conduct daily inspection of surveying equipment and track equipmentcalibrations. Clean surveying equipment to ensure equipment is ready for next day's work. Order surveying supplies as directed. Ensure security of equipment while conducting surveying operations. Assist with overall site safety and quality programs and ensure compliance ofTrade employees and Trade Partners inaccordance Turner standards, applicable safety codes, regulations, and jobsitesecurity. Complete time sheets, production tracking/management, extra work tickets,daily construction reports, and required safetypaperwork daily, as directed. Promote teamwork in daily operations, and maintain positive workingrelationship with customers, contractors, suppliers,and other employees. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications: High school diploma and minimum of 3 years of surveying experience required OSHA 30-hour certification required Expert knowledge and use of surveying equipment Read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications,scopes of work, and project schedule interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in emergencysituations Proficient computer skills Comprehend safety instructions, signage, and understand written safetyinstructions from tool and equipment manufacturers Travel and accommodate night and weekend work as neededPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform theessential functions of this job. Theemployee is regularly required to be mobile, and theemployee regularly travels both short and long distances via a variety ofconveyances. The employee regularly performs workon-site at construction work sites, office locations, and/or off-site venues.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
