What you'll do... u2022 Specify requirements, design, implement, and test both bare metal and RTOS low-level software for creating a scalable platform. u2022 Develop multicore, time / safety critical software architectures. u2022 Work with/resolve ambiguity in requirements/specifications/designs. u2022 Create elegant, efficient real-time software components and interfaces. u2022 Develop software component testing methodologies and implementations to ensure maturity/stability/release readiness. u2022 Work with hardware and debuggers at a bench and HIL level to verify software operation. u2022 Define system-level power / compute / communication requirements and implement solutions that allow different applications to achieve different combinations of configurations. u2022 Profile power / CPU / bus usage and identify opportunities for optimization on the submodule as well as system level. u2022 Develop comprehensive test plans and perform thorough testing to validate firmware functionality, stability, and performance under various conditions, including low power modes. You'll have... u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering u2022 8+years ofrelevant experience in embedded software development using C u2022 Experience with Automotive MCUu2019s from NXP, TI, STM u2022 Experience with RTOSu2019s such as u-velOSity, FreeRTOS, safeRTOS. u2022 Experience with bare metal and RTOS software development including board bring-up u2022 Experience with JIRA and Confluence u2022 Experience with git. u2022 Experience with build systems such as make and bazel u2022 Experience with scripting languages such as python or bash. u2022 Knowledge ofelectrical engineering fundamentals including circuit analysis and design u2022 Excellent communication skills Even better, you may have... u2022 Experience in driver development and RTOS integration. u2022 Experience with fundamental hardware components on PCB and their analysis tools. u2022 Experience with ISO26262 development u2022 Experience with Automotive technologies such as CAN, LIN, UDS, DoIP. u2022 Experience with Automotive testing tools such as Vector Canoe u2022 Knowledge of MISRA. u2022 Knowledge of commercial compilers and embedded debugging tools such as GHS and Keil.
