This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experiencein both technical engineering and business operations through a diverserange of client projects while giving you the chance to explore thebeginnings of your own career path. As an intern, you'll work alongsideexperienced professionals on projects that could include landfillconstruction, landfill permitting, storm water management, utility work,soil and groundwater remediation, brownfield redevelopment, sitedevelopment, and sustainability initiatives. You will typically work 40hours per week. How you can make an impact You will contribute to ourprojects by assisting SCS project teams with the following tasks:Construction observation and documentation Environmental andconstruction materials sample collection Laboratory data management andreview Compliance reporting Surveying Reporting and calculationpreparation CAD drafting Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor'sor master's degree in civil, environmental, geological, or biologicalsystems engineering and graduating by June 2028 required. Must bewilling to live in the Madison area for Summer 2026 (housing allowancewill not be provided). Solid technical and computer skills (AutoCADexperience a plus). Valid driver's license with a driving record ingood standing required. Ability to travel overnight for work outside ofan office setting may be required. Preference for candidates whodemonstrate a desire to pursue a career in consulting and professionallicensure upon graduation.
