How you can make an impact Gather and assembletechnical data from various sources to develop engineering plans fordesign and construction. Develop engineering plan sets, including sitelayouts, mass grading plans, construction details, plans and profiles,cross sections, and earthwork volume and other takeoff calculationsusing AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Develop survey point lists, alignments, andearthwork surfaces for field construction purposes. Develop as-builtdocumentation drawings. Check drawings for completeness and accuracy.Develop 2D and 3D renderings, when required. Work with engineers orscientists in project work. Assist with the development and maintenanceof CAD standards. Coordinate work with other drafters or CAD designerswithin our region. Assist with the integration of CAD with othertechnology solutions (e.g., GIS, drones, AI, etc.). QualificationsMinimum 10 years of prior work experience drafting for civil engineeringrequired. Experience in the solid waste industry preferred. Demonstratedproficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software required. Experience inpreparing engineering plan sets, including site layouts, mass gradingplans, construction details, plans and profiles, cross sections, andearthwork volume and other takeoff calculations. Experience ingenerating both 2D and 3D renderings (e.g. Revit, Maya) is not requiredbut preferred.
