Description We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Power Apps to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain dynamic reports, dashboards, and applications that provide actionable insights and improve business processes. Based in Chula Vista, California, this position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver impactful solutions. Responsibilities: u2022 Gather and analyze user requirements to define Key Performance Indicators and identify relevant data sources. u2022 Create and maintain interactive Power BI and Tableau dashboards with visually compelling data visualizations. u2022 Develop and enhance Microsoft Power Apps to streamline business operations and meet organizational needs. u2022 Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting and application solutions. u2022 Optimize the performance of dashboards and applications for speed and scalability. u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and functionality. u2022 Provide user training and create basic documentation to support non-technical users. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and gather feedback. u2022 Integrate data from various sources, including databases and Excel, to create comprehensive reporting solutions. u2022 Monitor and maintain applications, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness over time. Requirements u2022 Proven experience designing and developing Power BI and Tableau dashboards (2+ years preferred). u2022 Proficiency in creating Power Apps and integrating them with other services offered by the same provider (2+ years preferred). u2022 Familiarity with SharePoint environments and their integration with reporting solutions. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and performance. u2022 Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. u2022 Strong collaboration skills to work across teams and gather input from multiple stakeholders. u2022 Preferred: Certifications in Power BI or related technologies (e.g., Certified: Data Analyst Associate). u2022 Preferred: Experience with integrating Power Apps into enterprise systems like Dynamics 365 or Office 365.
