Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing and PR Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative and fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to both marketing and public relations efforts. Assist in designing and proofreading acquisitions decks and marketing plans to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand goals. 3. Write and edit compelling content, including positioning statements, book hooks, ad copy, and sales conference points. 4. Public Relations Support 5. Draft press kits to support PR campaigns and book launches. 6. Build and maintain media lists to ensure effective outreach and coverage. 7. Mailing Coordination 8. Assist with office mailings, including formatting mailing spreadsheets for Goodreads giveaways, ARC (Advance Reader Copy) mailings, and other promotional efforts. 9. Market Research and Analysis 10. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights. 11. Request and analyze trend reports, providing actionable insights to inform marketing and PR strategies. 12. Collaboration and Organization 13. Work closely with the marketing and PR teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. 14. Stay organized and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory in-office days at our Nashville headquarters, while Mondays and Thursdays are remote workdays.
