JOB REQUIREMENTS: Title: Senior Environmental Engineer Location:Madison, WI Job Type: Regular Full-time What's the Opportunity? AnchorQEA is seeking a senior environmental design engineer dedicated tosolving our clients' most challenging problems in sediment remediation.This role demands significant interaction with clients, regulatoryagencies, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams. The idealcandidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and excels in both technicalexpertise and project management. Strong communication skills, teamwork,and a willingness to mentor junior staff are essential. Projects willprimarily be in Wisconsin and throughout the Great Lakes region, withopportunities to engage in assignments nationwide. What you'll do: Leadcomplex sediment remediation projects, managing planning, execution,team coordination, budget tracking, client relationships, andstakeholder communications. Foster a safe and quality driven culture,both project and companywide Develop clear, constructible remedy designswith robust technical support to minimize contractor change orders.Conduct remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineeringcalculations, design drawings, and technical specifications. Performengineering analyses and evaluations for diverse multidisciplinaryprojects, including primarily sediment remediation, but also fishpassage, waterfront development, and restoration. Clearly documenttechnical information in reports and deliverables. Conduct qualitativeand quantitative analysis of environmental and engineering data Developthe next generation of engineers in engineering principles and designpractices What Are We Looking For? Ideal candidates will have thefollowing: BS or MS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 10 to15 years of relevant work experience, including the planning andimplementation of sampling, data analysis, feasibility studies, andremedial design. Experience working with regulatory agencies (USEPA,USACE, State agencies). Strong understanding of the application ofengineering principles, including cost estimating, plans andspecifications, bid packages, dredge plans, and field oversight ofconstruction. Professional Engineering (PE) licensure or ability obtainwithin one year Proficiency in MS Office. Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. Critical thinking and strong problem-solvingskills. Preferred Qualifications 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (CFR1910.120) AutoCAD Civil 3D experience Familiarity CERCLA, NR 700, andthe Great Lakes Legacy Act What Can You Expect?
