Projects may include statistical analyses, operations support, policy, procedure, database management, program implementation, develop and maintain contractual agreements, regulatory oversight, and other areas. This position will also interact with center participants, which include IEHP members and prospective members. Oversee contractors’ performance through observations to ensure the provisions of the contract are fulfilled. Assist with development and creation of ongoing training materials, training schedules, curriculums, and working in team setting with other Team Members, as well as maintaining positive communication with other departments.Develop and maintain written project plans, projected timelines, milestones, and deliverables.Conduct daily quality review activities to ensure Quality Assurance Program procedures are followed. Collaborate with department management and supervisors regarding development, implementation, tracking, and feedback components related to quality standards.Maintain well documented dashboards and databases, demonstrating Community Wellness Center operations.Maintain productivity reports, including data from various systems such as MediTrac, Medhok, Workfront, Access, Excel, etc.Support the Community Wellness Center department in the development, implementation, and usage of reporting systems including but not limited to, special projects, operational processes, process improvement and system processes.Create program cards for referral intakes using Access Database, Connect IE, and/or other software platforms to support outreach and IEHP member engagement initiatives, such as community equity clinics, social activities for all populations. Track and monitor individual Program Policies, Regulatory Policies and Procedure updates, follow-up on outstanding updates or overdue responses, and provide status reports to Management that document progress, all in coordination with internal departments and outside agencies.Develop and maintain good working relationships and cooperate actively with department staff and internal departments to meet program goals.Responsible for collecting and interpreting data into presented forms such as charts, ad hoc reports, and graphs as directed by Manager.Maintaining files in a secured centralized location.Support Community Wellness Center Department operations, by assisting in daily inbound phone queue and outbound calls for events hosted internally and externally, along with completion of documentation of telephone calls. Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure unit operations are successful.Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.Education & Requirements At least two (2) years of experience in a managed care environmentHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate’s degree from an accredited institution preferredThis is a bilingual position. Identified bilingual team members in this role must take a language proficiency assessment and must receive a passing scoreKey QualificationsMust have a valid California Driver's license and valid automobile insurance. Must qualify and maintain driving record to drive company vehicles based on IEHP insurance standards of no more than three (3) pointsKnowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft WordSQL knowledge preferredInterpersonal skills, including but not limited to, appropriate communication, including resolving conflict, excellent teamwork, and relationship skills, speak confidently and clearly to large audiences, active listening, and strong writing abilityRelationship skills, including but not limited to compassion, motivational interviewing, sensitivity to multi-cultural communitiesProfessional skills, including but not limited to, balancing multiple projects, constant learning, observing ethical and legal rules, identifying situations calling for mandatory reporting, ability to objectively report data, critically review data and identify targeted areas for program activityCandidate must possess analytical skills and strong communication skills both written and orallyAbility to build effective working relationshipsThe Program Specialist is expected to exercise adequate time management and strong ability to multitaskStart your journey towards a thriving future with IEHP and apply TODAY!OnsiteUSD $25.90 - USD $33.02 /Hr.
