Job Description

Inspect, modify and repair aircraft at the maintenance base. Troubleshoots technical discrepancies and executes repairs of company aircraft. Leads and guides mechanics on advanced tasks. Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment, voltage/amperage measuring, recording devices and navigation of troubleshooting equipment. Coordinates materials and tooling requirements for projected work. Schedules manpower to cover aircraft maintenance and inspections.Troubleshoot technical discrepancies and execute repair of company aircraft Accomplish aircraft inspections per company procedures Proficient in use of electronic test equipment, voltage or amperage measuring, recording devices and navigation troubleshooting equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and technical ordersInspect and assist in maintenance of company equipment and toolingWork as a member of a team that will interface with contract maintenance personnelFollow safety measures, good shop practices and cleanliness standardsCommunicate discrepancies to Maintenance Control department found during inspections and follow directions to troubleshoot and repair faulty conditionsEnsure that all aircraft documentation is completed accurately per company and FAA procedures prior to aircraft departureLeads and guides mechanics on advanced tasksOrganize daily tasks and coordinate inspections/repair of aircraftCoordinate materials and tooling requirements for projected work for entire shiftAct as shift manager as requiredSchedule manpower to cover aircraft maintenance and inspections Perform Manual and Aircraft parts inventories as requiredAssist other company departments to ensure on-time departure of company aircraftAdditional duties assignedHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant CertificateExperienced transport category aircraft maintenance experience Formal training on advanced systems/avionicsMust be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English languageStrong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft software and in use of digital manualsStrong work ethic and organizational skillsMust be able to work in variable weather conditionsAble to work rotating schedules to include weekends, nights and holidaysMust possess valid passport or State issued driver’s license and may travel occasionally for AOG recovery and special projects when requested#GH19 #LI-20#LI-KG1Salary Range: $100-$135,000Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
