This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a robust portfolio showcasing diverse design expertise across multiple mediums, including illustrations, motion graphics, and video editing.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, experience with Premiere Pro, and a strong background in crafting premium-quality designs. Experience in the entertainment industry is a requirement.This role pays an annual salary of $54,000-$64,000Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays)This position will remain open until December 19, 2025.Central Bank Center is an event destination located in downtown Lexington and includes the iconic Rupp Arena, a large convention center, the historic Lexington Opera House, and the CommonSpirit Health Stage at Gatton Park.Conceptualize and execute high-quality designs for various mediums, including digital, print, motion graphics, and video.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative assets that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.Create visually compelling illustrations, layouts, and animations for marketing campaigns, sales decks, brand development, and other marketing initiatives.Develop motion graphics and video content to enhance brand storytelling and engagement.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.Creative Vision Strong, unique conceptual and visual storytelling skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.Participate in brainstorming and strategy meetings for all events.Work with vendors and other organizations to complete projects and goals.Provide on-site support as needed for events.Assist with creating the annual budgetAttend industry conferences and training courses approved by DirectorAssist with the planning and execution of the Facility’s anniversary celebrationsOversee the creation and design of the Annual ReportOversee the Annual Marketing Plans for each venueOversee and provide guidance to a part-time employee.Other duties as assignedWorking Conditions:Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidaysFrequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the buildingBachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, graphic design, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design with a proven track record of delivering high-quality workPrior experience in the sports, entertainment, or music industry preferredStrong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects (print, digital, illustration, motion graphics, video editing, etc.)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent copywriting and strong verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate new ideas effectivelyKnowledge of four-color printing processes, digital design, photography, and photo retouchingHighly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentIndependent decision-making skills with the ability to solve problems of moderate scope and complexityAdaptability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adjust to shifting prioritiesCollaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills; a true team player with a positive, professional attitudeHigh degree of personal integrity and commitment to organizational goalsAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
