Sr. Litigation Paralegal

Description We are offering an opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be integral to our complex litigation team, working extensively with large collections of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) and managing the eDiscovery process. This role requires advanced technical skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and organize large volumes of documents, including significant collections of ESI. u2022 Utilize eDiscovery platforms and advanced technical skills with several programs. u2022 Exhibit advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and document management systems. u2022 Coordinate the collection of ESI, evaluate and process complex data for document review. u2022 Prepare productions and/or data load files as a critical part of the job. u2022 Familiarize yourself with trial presentation software (such as Trial Director or Sanction), Filesite, Access, and Forte. u2022 Learn and adapt to other software systems that support a busy litigation practice. u2022 Multitask in a professional, team environment while demonstrating a deep commitment to client service and producing a high-quality work product. u2022 Utilize skills such as e-Discovery, Document Production, and Relativity. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a Paralegal or equivalent role in a legal setting u2022 Knowledge and experience of e-Discovery procedures and protocols u2022 Proficiency in document production and management u2022 Experience in litigation support, specifically in the area of civil litigation u2022 Familiarity with the legal software 'Relativity' for conducting e-Discovery u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills u2022 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines u2022 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail u2022 Knowledge of legal terminologies and principles u2022 Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software u2022 Strong organizational and planning skills u2022 Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information u2022 Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
