You will perform research, analytics, and other technical support for both clients and internal stakeholders.As an R&D Data Analyst, you will balance detail-oriented organizational skills and data analytics acumen to support proof-of-concept studies, early go-lives, and ad-hoc analytics for clients. You will also leverage effective verbal and written communication to share results with internal stakeholders. This includes creating and peer reviewing client deliverables to ensure quality of results, adapting to evolving priorities and deadlines while maintaining excellence in your work, and providing business intelligence support to BD Sales Consultants and other stakeholders throughout the sales process.You will also work closely with the Product and Engineering functions within the R&D team to support product enhancements and software development for new and existing R&D solutions. You will conduct research to support new product features, as well as help document user stories and assist with user acceptance testing to validate new functionalities.The R&D Data Analyst supports our product roadmaps and strategic vision to ensure they are in lockstep with client needs and market demands. Embrace this opportunity to meaningfully shape the next generation of data-driven solutions while working within a highly collaborative, forward-thinking environment.What you will be doingPerform client proof-of-concept studies and generate other recurring client deliverablesWork with BD consultants and internal experts to complete analyses related to client questions and ad-hoc needsAnticipate and address questions that will arise during business reviewActively engage in peer review processes, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the quality and consistency of work produced and reviewedConduct research projects from start to finish by working with other IntelliScript teams, where necessary, which may lead to discussing system and process changes within the R&D systemWrite user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development effortsProvide UAT support to ensure product quality and alignment with requirementsBalance numerous projects/tasks with varying deadlines and difficulty without sacrificing quality of workWhat we need Minimum of 2 years experience in data analytics, product research, or related roleBachelors degree in any related fieldProficiency with data analysis tools and techniquesStrong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProven capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving under tight deadlinesWhat you bring to the tableStrong analytical & creative problem-solving skillsExtensive experience with Excel and SQLLoves to learn, takes every opportunity theyre given to develop knowledge and skillsExtremely well-organizedIdentifies problems, brainstorms solutions, and has a constructive, "can do" approach to overcoming obstaclesProfessional when interacting with colleaguesAble to work independently and thrive on a growing teamAdaptable and willing to pitch in wherever neededSeeks out input from others, shares insights and opportunitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills Wish listAdvanced degree (e.g. MBA, Masters in Data Analytics, or related field)Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and analytics6+ months experience with Databricks or other relevant analytics softwareExperience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira)Previous experience in solution architecture or technical design discussionsLocationThe expected application deadline for this job is December 31, 2025. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events (up to 5%).CompensationThe overall salary range for this role is $59,200 - $113,760. For candidates residing in:Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $65,120 - $104,280.New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $71,040 - $113,760.All other locations the salary range is $59,200 - $94,800.A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees health, financial security, and well-being.
