Yes County Suffolk Street Address 8 Corporate Center Dr 1st & 2nd Floors City Melville State NY Zip Code 11747 Duties Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:u2022Manage the day-to-day duties as a Case Manager in the ATF.u2022Work up and process preliminary ATF cases.u2022Review forms and confirm ATF deposit eligibility.u2022Make outreach phone calls or emails to various parties.u2022Routinely communicate with NYSIF Actuarial to obtain info about claims.u2022File forms and correspond with the Workersu2019 Compensation Board.u2022Process basic compensation payments.u2022Complete other tasks as assigned or as needed. Minimum Qualifications u2022One year of permanent, competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. Eligible titles include, but are not limited to: Administrative Assistant 1, Business Document Specialist 2, Motor Vehicle Consumer Services Representative 1, Licensing Examiner 1, Taxpayer Services Representative 1, Program Aide, Payroll Examiner 1; ORu2022Four years of customer service experience that required independence in both verbal and written communication responsibilities; OR u2022An associate degree or higher and two years of customer service experience that required independence in both verbal and written communication responsibilities. At a future date, it is expected employees hired under NY HELPS will have their non-competitive employment status converted to competitive status, without having to compete in an examination. Employees will then be afforded with all the same rights and privileges of competitive class employees of New York State.
