Eatonu2019s Corporate Information Technology team is hiring a Product Owner u2013 SAP Source & Make. This position can be based at any Eaton location in the Eastern or Central time zones in the US and requires 25% travel on average. Relocation assistance is not available. We are seeking a forward-thinking leader of people who can bring a fresh perspective to our SAP/ERP team. As Product Owner, you will own the SAP modules involved in manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering, which includes (but not limited to) Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM). You will champion the product vision, collaborate with senior leaders, develop, and maintain the product roadmap, and define key operational processes to ensure efficient, effective, and seamless order fulfillment for our customers. You will work closely with business partners and customers to align epics with key business objectives for the Scrum or Kanban team. You will drive efficiencies in multiple products through innovative AI technologies, process standardization, solution reusability, automation, and optimal resource use. This product owner will also collaborate with other ERP/Oracle product teams to ensure best in class process implementation. You will be responsible for managing SAP standards, governance models, best practices, and template designs, along with the strategy and roadmap for SAP capabilities within these modules and beyond. As a leader within Eaton's IT function, you will manage and develop the SAP delivery team to achieve business outcomes. You will manage product funding, define work priorities, and balance new features with continuous improvement and support. You will work with product teams to execute the roadmap, guide development, define user stories, and represent the customer voice. You will maximize SAP value by managing the product backlog. In this role, you will handle products foundational to the business, set and communicate the product vision, and maintain the roadmap. You will work with business partners and customers to align epics with objectives, manage funding, define priorities, and balance new features with system health. You will work with architects, engineers, and team members to execute the roadmap and guide development. What youu2019ll do: u2022 Define and champion the product vision, roadmap, and epics, working with senior leaders to craft strategic business objectives and enterprise-spanning plans to meet customer and business needs pertaining to SAP order fulfillment/manufacturing modules. u2022 Own the product backlog, managing and prioritizing user stories, decomposing epics into features, and continuous improvement work u2022 Manage a team of IT professionals and/or managers, providing appropriate coaching to develop employee skills and continuously improve performance u2022 Develops and maintains product-specific persona and customer journeys u2022 Communicate goals for product increments and releases. Define goals for team sprints. u2022 Support the onboarding of internal and external resources u2022 Accountable for product support, stability, and governance: including data, policy, cybersecurity, and usage u2022 Act as a functional expert in areas related to the product, including across Eaton's portfolio and with other business units u2022 Understand commercial, business and go-to-market strategies where applicable u2022 Support a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle u2022 Will have a broader level of functional and technical knowledge of SAP deliver capabilities u2022 Develop, communicate, and deploy SAP deliver governance standards and best practices across the support and delivery of SAP deliver capabilities u2022 Drive system architecture, ensure alignment and facilitate solution delivery across SAP delivery related activities Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited institution u2022 Minimum of 10 years of experience within SAP across a complex multiple ERP instance architecture u2022 Minimum 7 years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent position u2022 SAP manufacturing/supply chain related (S4 and ECC) experience u2022 Prior manager of people experience required u2022 Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship u2022 No relocation is offered for this position; All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of an Eaton location Preferred Qualifications u2022 Advanced degree from an accredited institution is preferred u2022 Experience in a best-in-class IT function within a matrixed, multinational company u2022 SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM) module experience u2022 Experience implementing automation and/or AI technologies within SAP Skills u2022 Exceptional ERP delivery functional knowledge across ECC and S4 u2022 Expertise with product management and modern product delivery processes u2022 Strong understanding of and experience working with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban software delivery teams u2022 Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles u2022 Strong understanding of modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services. u2022 Experience directly managing and developing professional team members u2022 Executive communication skills u2022 Strong knowledge of and experience working with design thinking methodologies u2022 Expertise with creation and management of product roadmaps u2022 Strong understanding of lean principles with respect to product and portfolio management u2022 Data orientation and ability to make data-driven decisions u2022 Passion for great customer experiences u2022 Financial and budget management u2022 Comfortable working directly with business leaders, external customers, and engineering teams u2022 Ability to drive change across organizational boundaries u2022 Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams At Eaton, we strive to provide compensation and benefits that attract, engage, and retain the best talent.
