US-Ohio-MiddlefieldTo be the point of contact for application, network, hardware, and software issues and enhancements at the site.This position must be able to isolate, resolve, and follow-up with end-users within the current informationprocessing network.Responsible for plant's Technology satisfaction and maximizing plant uptimeMust be able to assess requirements for communications and submit them to management for approvalMust keep abreast of the latest developments in the technological arenaResponsible for hardware requirements and improving or maximizing the network’s performanceManage, maintain, and administer computer networks and related computing environments and support specialIT, business and MES projectsAdministrator, plan and implement many projects including a VeloCloud SDWAN deployment, Palo Altofirewalls, Veeam backups, Global Protect VPN, and Hyper-V to VMWare conversionsWork in a downtime sensitive and often remote environment upgrading, replacing, and updating systemconfigurationsAssist with site migrations, new site acquisitions as well as site closuresProvide desktop and server support along with support of site IT contactsAdminister, maintain, and support the telephone systems (Avaya) end users’ technology requirements andcameras systemsInteract with internal clients to resolve basic help desk issues; communicate with internal clients in aprofessional manner maintaining confidentialityAssist in administering and maintaining local server software applicationsDeployment and management of workstations; hardware and software setup, maintenance, and upgradesTroubleshoot hardware, software, and network issuesMaintain updates on software and hardware timeclocks, and VPN ConnectionsPerform monthly maintenance on serversSet up and maintain computer stations and software for all Associates. Help answer troubleshooting callsAssist in the administration and maintenance of local server software applications.Facilitate technology onboarding for new associatesTravel to other HEXPOL locations may be requiredPerform any other project/task assigned by ManagementBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of educationManufacturing floor experience preferred but not required.Six (6) to Eight (8) Plus years of working IT Experience in mid to large cap markets (500 M USD or larger)Specialized skills in M365 administration, Active Directory, MS Azure, MS Entra, Intune, Power Automate, SharePoint, networking or other infrastructure areaMust be available for 24-hour supportStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong computer/systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/Visio/Outlook/Teams)Solid organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and manage a broad range of responsibilitiesHigh degree of concentration, attention to detail, high energy, self-motivated and self-reliantAbility to interact well with all personality typesStrong cooperation, collaboration, and team-building skillsEffective analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on continuous improvementPersonal integrity to handle personal and confidential informationHEXPOL Compounding Americas (HCA) is an essential early contributor to the global value chain responsible for the safety, quality, and performance of rubber compounding products and components used by original equipment manufacturers across a range of industries.
