We’ve been serving this area since 1892 and we have the equipment, experience, and expertise to offer you a full range of the latest health services.The Clinic CNA assists in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a present and available Registered Nurse/ Hospital Provider; is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization; and supports the mission, vision, and Values of CommonSpirit Health.Essential Key Job ResponsibilitiesMust be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, and collect urine specimensAssists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needsAssists with patient transports and transfersAssists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and suppliesPractices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policiesUtilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and proceduresNon-essential Job ResponsibilitiesOther duties as assignedRequiredCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the Minnesota Department of HealthCertification for Basic Life Support (BLS)Strong oral communications skillsAbility to deal with conflict and difficult peopleStrong critical thinking skillsKnowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processesAbility to manage multiple priorities
