The program is designed to give hands-on experience across all stages of commercial lending transactions from screening, structuring, underwriting, and closing. Summer Analysts will have exposure to the credit department and client segment teams through a variety of assigned projects and studies. During the program Summer Analysts will develop initial analytical and interpersonal skills required to be an effective banking professional while building relationships with their peers and other banking colleagues. Successful completion of the East West Bank Summer Analyst Program may lead to a full-time offer near the end of the summer program for a January 2027 or June 2027 start date.
