To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visitwww.amcor.com|LinkedIn|YouTubePlanning, organizing, executing and leading all assigned areas within the plantAccountable to plan and execute to meet required safety, quality, delivery, production, cost and communication objectivesMeet production schedules within budgeted allocationEnsure appropriate on-the-job training and development of crew members is satisfiedAddress mechanical, operational, and technical downtime issues within departmentTrain, motivate and mentor employeesConduct training of new and existing employeesSupervise employees in the day-to-day operations to ensure safety, quality and productivityMaintain and improve production throughput and work with Production/Plant Manager to maintain direct labor costProvide support for on the job assignments and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure Company policies, safety, quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Policies (GMPs) are implemented, understood and followedMaintain a positive working environment among employeesMaintain all required logs and reporting documentation and adhere to all safety proceduresAdhere to all Company safety regulations and policiesOther duties as assignedA four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experienceExperience in Blown Film Industry preferred but any extrusion or printing background is advantageousPrevious experience with Lean, SixSigma or other relevant continuous improvement methods and tools a plusPrevious experience with Troubleshooting processes, 5 Why, 8D or other is a plus.
