Project AssistantApply ( Keck School of Medicine Los Angeles, California The Department of Population and Public Health Sciences is in search of a Project Assistant for a research project. The Project Assistant should be a detail-oriented individual with a flexible schedule, who can assist with data collection for the study team. Specifically, this person will 1) collect observational and purchasing data, 2) prepare for data collection activities, and 3) perform basic data management (e.g, maintaining and updating spreadsheets, cleaning and entering data, etc.). The Project Assistant will be required to coordinate study activities and will be responsible for planning and scheduling data collection site visits and appointments. The ideal candidate should be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent speaking skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently. The individual will be responsible for generating reports and basic analysis of data according to project schedules. Prior experience in a research environment is preferred. The candidate must be at least 21 years of age , and the use of a personal vehicle is necessary. Other duties may be added as the research study dictates. The hourly rate for this position is $25.83 - $26.15.
