Apply today and become a vital part of our team at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital Responsibilities: + Operate equipment used intraoperatively. + Trains, mentors, and orients Anesthesia Associates or Anesthesia Students as needed + Draw blood samples from existing intravascular lines. + Maintain personal growth and development by participating in the in-service and continuing education programs. + Maintain statistics as requested to support quality initiatives, reporting responsibilities, focus studies, and operational analysis. + Input daily charging information into SMS for hospital technical billing purposes. + Perform and evaluate thromboelastrographs (TEG). + Operate rapid infusion pump system (RIS). + Assist with the evaluation of new equipment and supplies. Adhere to UPMC policy when arranging for an evaluation + Performs all responsibilities of Anesthesia Technician + Participate in the department equipment management program according to program guidelines. + High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience as an anesthesia technician or emergency/medical or related experience required _or_ Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Tech school or program required Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: + ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.
