Adheres to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.Ability to consistently meet time-based productivity standardsComfortable working in multi-level picking modules and around conveyor systemsMaintains a safe work area, adhering to safety policies and proceduresSupports and works in other departments throughout the Distribution CenterAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environmentThis role also entails maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the Distribution CenterQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience operating a Reach Truck and Order Picker (Cherry Picker) Versatility within the department, encompassing various tasks such as utilizing equipment and performing RPA duties by footPossesses strong communication skills and proficiency in utilizing radio communicationExperience working in a highly automated distribution environment a plus. Knowledge of various distribution systems such as warehouse management system, radio frequency devices and voice picking preferred Arrives on time and is prepared to begin work at the scheduled shift time and committed to working scheduled hours with flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needsMakes strategic and effective decisions in the best interest of our customers and our company, taking care to objectively process informationAbility to work within and exemplify The Container Store brand which we describe as matchless, fun, authentic, team-focused and life-changingThis position requires associates to stand 100% of the time and walk approximately 50% of the time with the ability to lift up to 47 pounds independently
