The Automotive Technician Associatewill assist with managing the workflow in the Service Center in addition to performing minor vehicle maintenance services across several manufacturer lines according to manufacturer specifications.This position is located at our brand-newService Center, 25080 Lakeland Blvd. Euclid, OH 44132.The pay for this position starts at $22 / hour (2 ASE minimum). In addition, you can earn an additional $1 / hour for ASE certifications beyond the required minimum of two. Responsibilities include:Work alongside an experienced auto technician as directed by supervisor or manager, to gain experience in the following areas:Ensure that all mechanical repairs are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelinesComplete manufacturer required training and perform warranty and recall repairs according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of trainingMaintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.Comply with part and inventory tracking proceduresProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all servicesUtilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic toolsMay process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy backsUpdate job knowledge by participating in company and manufacturer approved training or other industry related trainingFollow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standardsMaintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standardsPerform related duties as required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransTwo years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehiclesAt least 2 current and valid ASE certifications required (A1-A8)Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 yearsNo drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the last 3 yearsUnderstanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plusMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testingMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or G.E.D is required
