Some may assist professionals such as audiologists and graduate students. Other duties may include providing general office support to the Audiology division and other departments within Otolaryngology. The Audiology Technician shall have a working knowledge base of the Otolaryngology Department as a whole and work well with physicians, patients and fellow co-workers.Duties and Responsibilities: Support hearing aid logistics: check-in, repairs, fittings, and inventory trackingManage hearing aid supplies, accessories, batteries, and warranty communications across multiple office locationsCoordinate patient communications: phone calls, emails, scheduling, and mailing suppliesMaintain clean and organized clinical spaces and equipmentProcess referrals, scan documents, and manage audiology-related paperworkHandle payments for supplies, warranties, and returnsPerform basic troubleshooting and listening checks for hearing aidsCollaborate with audiologists and vendors to ensure smooth operationsTravel between offices may be requiredDemonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and strong customer service skillsPerform other duties or special projects as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma requiredAssociate’s Degree in a healthcare-related field preferredPreferred Skills:Familiarity with medical terminologyExperience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsUSD $17.84 - USD $26.76 /Hr.
