Solution Architect/Lead Java Full-Stack Engineer

Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect/Lead Java Full-Stack Engineer to drive the technical vision and execution of enterprise-level software solutions for impactful federal projects. This role blends deep hands-on full-stack development expertise with architectural leadership, cross-team collaboration, and effective stakeholder communication.As the Team Lead and Point of Contact (POC), you’ll serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical authority, guiding the end-to-end delivery of cloud-based, scalable, and secure applications in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development teams and serve as the primary technical POC for the project.Define and drive architecture, design, and development of modern full-stack solutions.Act as the bridge between enterprise architecture, business teams, and application development.Identify and resolve performance and integration issues early in the lifecycle.Ensure high-quality delivery of all project milestones, with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.Manage project scope, schedule, risks, and quality metrics.Create and deliver presentations and technical documentation to senior leadership and stakeholders.Collaborate with third-party vendors, DevOps, and enterprise system teams.Required Skill SetsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.Experience & Expertise:10+ years of hands-on experience in Java full-stack development.Strong experience working with business users and technical teams.Expert in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.Proficient in frontend technologies including Angular, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.Experience with AWS cloud services and containerized deployments using Docker.Skilled in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins for automated pipelines.Strong command of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, software engineering principles, and test-driven development (TDD).Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with build and automation tools: Maven, Gradle, Git, SoapUI, JMeter.Prior experience with government, financial, or insurance systems is a plus.What We OfferOpportunity to lead cutting-edge federal technology initiatives.A collaborative, Agile environment with access to the latest cloud and DevOps tools.Competitive salary, full benefits package, and potential for long-term project continuity.Career advancement in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
