A lovely family in Palm Beach is seeking a live-out nanny for their two children, ages 2-years-old and 8 months.The family would be open to an exceptional candidate living in. The family spends approximately 2-2.5 months of the summer in Aspen during which the nanny will be live-in. They typically do a couple of 7-10 day trips to Aspen during the winter as well. The schedule will usually be Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am-4:30pm, however, 1-2 days may be a later start and end such as 1-8pm. Some flexibility will be appreciated as the older child starts school in the fall and the family will work with the nanny to find a schedule that works for both sides. In Aspen the schedule may include more evenings and weekends, with notice, and downtime during the afternoons.Full childcare of two sweet children. While both parents are hands on, the nanny must be able to confidently handle both a toddler and infant at the same time.Enrichment in and outside the home, monitoring and encouragement of milestones, and partnering with mom and dad to collaboratively ensure the best care for the childrenLight housekeeping related to the children- this consists of children's laundry, solids introduction and meal preparation, and keeping children's spaces and belongings tidy and clean (organizing diaper deliveries, switching out clothes, eg.). During travel, the nanny will manage the packing and unpacking and planning activities in the destination. There is a housekeeper for deep cleaning but a team player is a mustConfident, easygoing, and warm nature. The parents appreciate a firm but fair nanny. They believe respectful rules and boundaries apply.Proactive and energetic to get the children out of the house for fun adventures and hands on learning. The family would appreciate a nanny who researches the newest classes and activities, joins play groups, and encourages the children to be social.High attention to detail and excellent communicatorEasily go with the flow and okay with last minute changes especially with children close in age!A second language would be nice to have but not requiredExcited for travel including spending up to 2.5 months away during the summer.
