Stifel strives for a culture that puts its clients and associates first: a culture where everyone belongs, everyone is welcome, and everyone contributes to the success of our clients, their careers, and the firm as a whole.Let’s talk about how you can find your place here at Stifel,where success meets success.The M&A Investment Banking Associate for the KBW Investment Banking Financial Services Group develops financial models and related valuation analysis for both public and private offerings.Play a critical role as the project manager on teams to manage the deal process from origination to closeDevelop integrated financial models and related valuation analysesParticipate in M&A, corporate finance (debt, public, and private equity) and restructuring assignmentsPrepare valuations, write memorandums for M&A and private placement processes, conduct M&A analyses, and participate in due diligence and drafting sessions for public and private offeringsMentor junior staff and target areas for their developmentWork on multiple projects and transactions at any given timeStrong ability to work in an entrepreneurial cultureAbility to manage, from start to finish, financing and M&A transactionsExcellent analytical, modeling, and client management skillsExercises good judgment in assessing risks and rewards of new business opportunitiesMinimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fieldMinimum Required: 3-5 years post-undergraduate work experience in investment banking or a related fieldMinimum Required: NoneProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookSalary: USD $175,000.00/Yr. - USD $250,000.00/Yr. Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate’s qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position. The base salary is one component of Stifel’s overall compensation package for each individual employee.
