The primary purpose of the Senior Maintenance Technician position is to perform general repairs, preventive maintenance and installs of facility equipment.Oversee, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair facility equipment ensuring a safe and productive work environment;Disassemble mechanical equipment, repair or replace worn or broken parts, and adjust parts of mechanical devicesas needed. Inspect completed repairs;Plan, prioritize and self-schedule maintenance work in alignment with organizational goals;Develop, implement and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life;Maintain continuous improvement initiatives in equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and shop organization;Manage procurement of parts and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely availability;Ability to work after hours and weekends as required;Responsible for moving equipment and office furniture;Support facility operations and special projects, including seasonal request;Represent the Facilities function professionally in cross functional meetings, collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards, fostering a culture of accountability and hazard prevention;Maintain regular and punctual attendance;Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations; andMay be required to assist with special projects, facility support, or other tasks outside of regular maintenance duties as business needs dictate.High school diploma or GED required;Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance preferred;Basic computer entry/retrieval skills required;HVAC certificate or licensed electrician preferred;Experience using a CMMS to handle work orders and PM checklist preferred;Ability to read and interpret machine manuals/schematics, electrical blueprints/schematics and process control diagrams;Experience troubleshooting of PLC and other control systems in an industrial environment; andExperience working independently and with minimal supervision.Physical Requirements:Must be able to walk, bend, turn and lift/push/pull up to 80 pounds on a consistent basis;Capable of standing on feet for a minimum of 6 hours per day, kneeling and climbing 10' ladders;Print legibly on all paperwork; andPersonal protective equipment may be required.
