This role involves supporting customers by answering questions, processing inquiries, and troubleshooting issues related to Intellectual Property (IP) and licensing.Internally, the specialist will provide timely updates on enforcement investigations and license-related matters. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth and efficient management of intellectual property and licensing processes, leveraging excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.This role is ideal for a recent graduate with analytical skills, attention to detail and eagerness to learn IP and licensing. Life science and paralegal experience preferred.Join ATCC and be part of a team that supports the global scientific community with trusted, authenticated biological materials.#LI-RemoteSupporting IP and material deposit requestsbyprocessing inquiries, supporting freedom to operate procedures, and communicating accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.Conduct legal and investigative searchesrelated tointellectual property and contractual rights investigations.Maintain accurate recordsentering and managing data across multiple databases, generating reports, and ensuring contract terms align with organizational goals.Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years' experience researching biological and/or intellectual property matters or equivalent experience.Strong communication skills with the ability to respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently, and escalate non-routine issues appropriately.Basic understanding of contracts and legal terminology relevant to IP and licensing preferred.Experience using databases and information systems to track, process, and report on agreements and licensing activities.Ability to interpret and apply organizational policies and procedures to resolve routine issues and support compliance monitoring.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple tasks, data entry, and generating accurate reports.Analytical and investigative skills to support enforcement investigations and assess licensee compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort working with digital tools and platforms.The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
