Come join us, and find out what the best work of your career could look like for you.Complete Building Services, (CBS) is currently seeking full-time Stationary Engineer's (SE) for a large commercial facility in Northern VA, (Fairfax). The full-time SE operates and maintains the facility and performs tours of areas and/or equipment. Additionally, the SE performs PM service calls, diagnostic services, and incidental, minor, and major repairs. The SE shall possess a Class 3 Steam Engineer (DC). All shifts.Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair of the HVAC systems and associated equipmentLog equipment as assignedMaintain facility and equipment in sound operating conditionProvide direction and support to sub-contractors designated to perform repair of plant, equipment and/or hardwareInterface with building managers and other customer representatives in order to ensure client satisfactionAccurately document work performed on trouble tickets or work ordersOperate and perform Preventive Maintenance on HVAC and associated equipmentPerform Refrigerant recovery and recyclingOperate Building Energy management System (EMS) and Building ControlsPlace and/or remove systems, hardware and equipment as requiredPerform other related duties as assigned. Must be on-site during the assigned hours and available to respond to on-site emergencies High School degree or equivalentMust possess a valid stationary engineer's license equivalent to DC 3rd ClassCompletion of 4-year HVAC Apprentice or equivalent training ProgramCompleted coursework in HVAC areasUniversal CFC/EPA Certification (written proof required)Minimum of four (4) years of related experience with HVAC systemsValid driver's licenseAble to lift up to sixty (60) poundsCapable ofascending ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet EOE, including disability/veterans
