Select Medical Corporate Headquarters4714 Gettysburg RoadMechanicsburg, PA 17055Payroll Business AnalystPayroll Business Analyst conducts analytical work to support payroll processing and compliance within all payroll functions of Select Medical’s Payroll Services Department.Watch to learn what it's like to work at Select Medical. We would love you to join our team!Analyzes payroll-related functions, processes, and activities to provide suggestions for enhancements that will improve efficiencies and business outcomes.Design, build, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and VBA macros, Access databases, and dashboards to support analysis, process automation, and business needs. Ability to generate routinely scheduled and ad-hoc reports, and present findings and insights to business partners and stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.Manage retrieval and organization of large volumes of data from various timekeeping/payroll systems.Support the department management team with the development of data-driven solutions to business challenges.Assists with the creation of training and reference documents for business-related templates, databases, and routine Excel functions.Required:1 to 3 years of applicable and proven experience in business and data analysis. Proficient in payroll, accounting and financial principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Proven expertise in advanced Excel and VBA development for automating processes and analyzing data is required.Knowledge of information systems, reporting, and programming is required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy.Preferred:Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in business or finance preferred.Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.Prior and proven experience successfully working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.Prior experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, UKG, and ADP payroll products. Experience with MicroStrategy and SplashBI preferred.Superior attention to detail and task-prioritization/organization under minimal supervision and in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with mature judgment and integrity.
