This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson.Interviews patients and records their medical historyObtains and documents patient vital signs; reports abnormal findings promptlyAdministers and documents administration of treatments and medications within scope of practice; may administer oral, topical, and suppository medications; administer injections, infusions, and blood transfusions; start IVsVerifies that patient charts are updated promptly and accuratelyObserves and records patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatmentsServes as a liaison between physician and patient; shares information and reinforces education and instructions provided by the care providerEducation and ExperienceCompletion of an accredited LPN program, required upon hire.One (1) year of experience in the discipline, required upon hire.Licensure and CertificationsLicensed Practical Nurse: North Dakota (LPN:ND), required upon hire.Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), required upon hire.
