Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a Testing Engineer/Developer or Senior Testing Engineer/Developerto be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS).The Testing Engineer/Developer or Senior Testing Engineer/Developerdevelops, designs and/or modifies operating facility web-based applications and related software applications; is involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards; evaluates interface between operational requirements, hardware and software, and characteristics of overall system; documents testing and maintenance of system corrections; designs and maintains web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific software needs of users.Analyze system requirements and devise testing strategies to optimize test coverage and schedule efficiencyWork with business analysts to develop testing options and strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirementsCreate, implement, execute, and document software tests for highly complex software, utilizing the established testing infrastructureAnalyze historical, current and ongoing bug reports to identify areas requiring attentionWork with software developers and/or the business analysts to resolve software defectsParticipate in setting software quality standards that span the entire software development life cycle, including documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenanceIdentify, document, and ensure resolution of software issues using Azure Devops or GitReview and identify gaps and deficiencies in technical specifications, designs and testing documentation for completeness and testabilityCreate and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency and coverageAdditional duties as assignedThis is a multilevel posting.
