Operate the antenna array during flight testsRecord detailed notes & test points during flight testsParticipate in flight test briefings to understand and accurately conduct the testParticipate in experimental flight testing as a ground crew memberPerform other tasks associated with operation of flight test aircraft which include ground operations, preflight items, cleaning, and organizingPerform other administrative tasks for the flight test departmentResponsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the CompanyExpected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practicesOther duties as assigned or requiredHigh school diploma or GEDTrack record of work experience demonstrating timeliness and reliabilityBasic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposesAbility to successfully complete training applicable to the jobExcellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleaguesAbility to work on a team and be able to work extended hours and travel as requiredRead and speak English proficientlyVision corrected to 20/20 or betterAbility to operate the antenna array including standing for extended periodsAbility to work outdoors in a range of weather conditionsAssociate’s or bachelor’s degreeExperience in aviationExperience in assembly, troubleshooting & repair of electric or mechanical systemsCompensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $28-$41/hr.
