Production Supervisor|Greensboro, NC|HIRING IMMEDIATELYStarting Salary Range: 70K-90K based on experienceNovolex is required by laws in many locations to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 70-80k.Responsibilities:Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining qualityTypically supervises 50 plus employeesCoordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achievedCarry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring & training employeesPlanning, assigning & directing workAppraising performanceRewarding & disciplining employeesAddressing complaints & resolving problemsEnsure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basisSupport & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goalsEnsures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessaryQualifications:BA/BS degree preferred (business, engineering)2+ years of manufacturing experienceSupervisory experience preferredGood verbal & interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work well in group situationsAbility to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent mannerGood computer skillsSAP experience preferredBi-lingual ( Spanish) preferredPactiv Evergreen is now a part of Novolex.
