This position is open to Emergency Medical Tech (EMT), Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN). The Clinical Nurse will provide support in patient care across all ages, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education in a primary care setting.Assist physicians during patient exams and proceduresRoom payients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR)Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensureEducate patients on health, medications, and follow-up careCoordinate referrals and patient care follow-upsEnsure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environmentValid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as one of the following:Registered Nurse (RN) - Iowa Board of NursingLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Iowa Board of NursingCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) - accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, NHA or AMT)Iowa EMT certificationBLS (Basic Life Support) certificationPrior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferredStrong communication and critical thinking skillsFamiliarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, etc.) and basic computer skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
