APPLY NOW, WE ARE HIRING!If you are looking to work in a welcoming environment with competitive pay rates, then this position is for you!At Oakleigh of Macomb Assisted Living Facility we are looking for a compassionate, caring, and experienced MedTech that will be assisting and providing dignified care to our residents too.Now hiring for 1st Shift!As a MedTech for us you will be in charge of:Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walkingPassing medication as primary responsibility along with hands on care to each residentMaintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeepingComply with all safety and health standards, including infection control proceduresAssess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to supervisorAdminister medications and injections to residents based on medical chartsFollowing schedule, assisting residents with repositioningFollow procedures regarding documenting of medicationsUtilize good judgment in providing client care and safetyAssisting other team members with their dutiesComplete all required documents and chartingAnswer call lights and assess residents needsObtain meal trays and assist with eatingOther duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements:Able to pass a criminal background checkMust be 18 years oldExperience passing medications and working with seniorsHigh school diploma or GEDReliable transportationEvery other weekend is requiredBenefits:ROOM FOR GROWTHEmployee Recognition eventsPAID TIME OFFMedical, dental and vision for full time employeesPaid orientation and training
