This position plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of our Science of Reading-based K-5 literacy curriculum across multiple school districts. The ideal candidate will combine educational expertise with operational excellence to ensure high-quality tutoring experiences for students and professional development for our tutoring staff.Work EnvironmentAbility to work at a computer for extended periodsLocal candidates: Occasional travel to school sites for training delivery and observationAbility to present to groups of varying sizesStandard office environment when working on-siteRemote options availableWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly compensation: $30 - $35 - Flexible rate depending on experiencePaid trainingCareer advancementFlexible hoursHybrid work options availableCurriculum Development & SupportMaintain and update K-5 Science of Reading curriculum maps across five core literacy pillars: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and ComprehensionAlign curriculum content with quarterly assessment schedules (Q1-Q4) and state educational standardsDevelop grade-specific instructional materials and resources for grades K-5Ensure curriculum compliance with district-specific priorities and state initiativesCreate and refine lesson plans optimized for 30-minute small-group (1:4) tutoring sessionsTraining Design & ImplementationDesign and deliver professional development programs for tutors, lead tutors, and district managersDevelop training materials for the 5-component lesson structure and 'I Do, We Do, You Do' gradual release modelCreate onboarding programs for new staff members across all organizational levelsSupport implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) and evidence-based practicesFacilitate ongoing professional development sessions and workshopsQuality Assurance & AssessmentMonitor curriculum implementation effectiveness across multiple districtsProvide feedback and recommendations for curriculum improvementsEnsure consistency in instructional delivery across all tutoring sitesSupport data-driven decision-making for curriculum enhancementsResource ManagementMaintain digital curriculum libraries and resource databasesCoordinate with the Curriculum Director on resource allocation and distributionUpdate training materials based on feedback and performance dataManage curriculum-related technology platforms and toolsSupport the integration of new educational technologies and methodologiesStakeholder SupportProvide direct support to Lead Tutors on curriculum-related questionsCollaborate with District Managers on implementation challengesAssist with tutor performance evaluations related to curriculum adherenceSupport client communications regarding curriculum updates and improvementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development or educational trainingExperience with Science of Reading methodologies and evidence-based literacy instructionPrior experience in K-5 education or elementary literacy instructionDeep understanding of the five pillars of reading instructionKnowledge of differentiated instruction strategiesExperience with small-group instructional modelsStrong project management and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesProficiency in curriculum mapping and alignmentExperience with learning management systems and educational technology platformsStrong data analysis skills for assessment interpretationProficiency in Google Workspace and presentation softwareFamiliarity with StudyTrack or similar tutoring management systems (preferred)Studyville LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.'USD $30.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
