Banking Analyst

Description We are looking for a meticulous Banking Analyst to join our team in Kerrville, Texas. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer support while managing a variety of financial transactions and banking operations. This position offers a chance to contribute to the success of our branch by supporting customer needs and maintaining compliance with banking regulations. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist customers with a wide range of banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and balance inquiries. u2022 Process specialized transactions such as wire transfers and cashieru2019s checks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to banking policies. u2022 Open and manage deposit accounts while educating customers about available bank products and services. u2022 Maintain and balance cash drawers daily, ensuring all transactions are accurately accounted for. u2022 Identify customer needs and recommend additional banking services, such as lending options or online banking tools. u2022 Stay informed of current banking policies and regulatory requirements, including compliance with anti-money laundering and Bank Secrecy Act standards. u2022 Address and resolve customer concerns in a precise and timely manner. u2022 Support branch goals by actively participating in sales initiatives and community outreach efforts. Requirements u2022 High school diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework is preferred. u2022 At least 2 years of experience in banking, cash handling, or customer service is essential. u2022 Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service. u2022 Familiarity with banking software systems and proficiency in office productivity applications is preferred. u2022 Basic troubleshooting skills and experience with tools like Active Directory and Windows 10 are beneficial. u2022 Knowledge of financial processes such as wire transfers, ACH transactions, and daily cash deposits.
