Sr. Accountant

Description Key Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple entities with different year-ends. u2022 Manage financials for both government contracts (milestone-based billing, compliance-driven) and commercial operations (manufacturing cost accounting). u2022 Prepare intercompany reconciliations and consolidated financial reporting. u2022 Support implementation of Epicor ERP upgrade and help migrate accounting processes from QuickBooks to Epicor for government and commercial divisions. u2022 Develop and maintain customized financial and forecasting reports to support leadership decision-making. u2022 Monitor milestone-based payments and ensure accurate job costing. u2022 Collaborate with management to identify inefficiencies and implement creative accounting solutions. u2022 Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, DCAA (if applicable), and tax reporting requirements. u2022 Support audits, tax filings, and government reporting. ________________________________________ Qualifications: u2022 Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience with multi-entity organizations (S-Corp, C-Corp, LLCs). u2022 Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and/or prior ERP implementation. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and transition experience to larger ERP systems. u2022 Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting (job costing, overhead allocation, WIP tracking). u2022 Understanding of government contract accounting requirements (FAR/DCAA compliance a plus). u2022 Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills u2014 ability to design and build custom reporting tools (Excel, BI tools, or ERP reports). u2022 Strong forecasting and budgeting experience. u2022 Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing environment with multiple stakeholders. ________________________________________ Preferred Traits: u2022 Creative thinker with a u201csolutions firstu201d mindset. u2022 Comfortable working across both high-compliance government contracts and dynamic commercial manufacturing. u2022 Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with leadership, production, and compliance teams. u2022 Detail-oriented but capable of big-picture financial analysis. ________________________________________ Requirements Month End Close, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
