Description We are looking for a dedicated Controller to lead financial operations and provide strategic guidance for our clients organization in the Stanislaus County. This role requires expertise in accounting, budgeting, compliance, and leadership to ensure the companyu2019s financial health and efficiency. The ideal candidate will drive financial reporting accuracy, uphold internal controls, and contribute to long-term business strategies. Contact Edgar Gonzalez if interested 209.395.2259 Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management. u2022 Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the executive team and monitor budget performance. u2022 Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. u2022 Mentor and manage the accounting team, fostering growth and accountability. u2022 Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making across operations, sales, and credit functions. u2022 Monitor cash flow, working capital, and oversee customer credit approvals and collections. u2022 Maintain strong banking relationships and support financing activities as needed. u2022 Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals. u2022 Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and operational efficiency through strategic initiatives. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. u2022 At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls. u2022 Industry experience in equipment distribution, industrial services, or a similar field is preferred. u2022 Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial systems, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Demonstrated leadership skills with strong communication and problem-solving abilities. u2022 High integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining ethical standards. u2022 Ability to develop and manage effective forecasting models for revenue, cash flow, and capital needs.
